The Essential First Step to Private Training!

Our New Client Consultation is where your training journey begins. During this session, we take the time to understand your dog’s unique personality, behavior, and needs, as well as your training goals. Consultations are conducted in your home for convenience and accuracy in assessing your dog’s behavior. After our meeting, you’ll receive a detailed follow-up report summarizing what we discussed, along with tailored homework to start training right away. This session sets the foundation for a personalized training plan designed specifically for you and your dog.

Canine Good Citizen & SPOT Testing

The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program is an excellent way to showcase your dog’s good manners and obedience skills. The United Kennel Club (UKC) Socialized Pet Obedience Test (SPOT) evaluates real-world skills that you and your dog use daily. Both tests assess 10 essential skills, including leash walking, passing other dogs, polite greetings, and more. Both certifications can also serve as a stepping stone to advanced dog sports, such as competition obedience, or as a starting point for therapy dog training.

If you’re interested in diving into dog sports like competition obedience but don’t know where to start, this program is for you! We’ll help you and your dog develop the foundational skills needed to succeed in the world of dog sports. Our training focuses on both the handler and the dog, ensuring you work together as a team. Even if dog sports aren’t your goal, this program is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their dog’s obedience and overall performance.
